Water Softeners
We call water hard if it contains a lot of calcium, magnesium or other minerals. Groundwater acquires these metals by dissolving them from surrounding soil and rock. A water softener has a resin tank containing thousands of tiny resin beads that hold electrically charged ions. When freshly regenerated, the beads become full of sodium ions from the water softener salt. As hard water passes through the water softener system, the calcium and magnesium ions are attracted to the resin beads. There, sodium ions are exchanged for the hard water ions. The softener system then delivers soft water for your use. Your bad water isn't going away, call for a quote today!
Chemical-Free Iron Filter
An Iron Reduction Filter is designed to reduce iron bacteria and hydrogen sulfide from your main water supply. It works when water enters the Iron Water Filter, it passes through a bubble of compressed air that adds oxygen to it. The water then passes through a filter bed. The filter material enhances a reaction that separates the iron from your water. The insoluble flakes of iron that result are then caught by the filter bed. Arsenic Filter
Arsenic can enter the water supply from natural deposits in the earth or from industrial and agricultural pollution. It is widely believed that naturally occurring arsenic dissolves out of certain rock formations when ground water levels drop significantly. Like many contaminants in drinking water, arsenic is potentially hazardous at levels or concentrations that do not impart a noticeable taste, odor, or appearance to the water. JRTT can install a 3 stage filtration unit specialized for removing Arsenic from your drinking water. Your bad water isn't going away, call for a quote today!
Reverse Osmosis Water Faucets
Reverse Osmosis is a process in which dissolved inorganic solids (such as salts) are removed from a solution (such as water). This is accomplished by household water pressure pushing the tap water through a semipermeable membrane. A small Reverse Osmosis filtration system can be installed at the kitchen tap to provide top-quality drinking water for the entire family. Improve the taste of your daily glasses of water along with your morning coffee, concentrated soup, powder-drink mixes... anything you use with water!
